Long An Provincial Youth Union summarizes 10 years of implementing Directive 42-CT/TW

Over the past 10 years, the Youth Union at all levels has implemented many practical programs and activities to effectively implement Directive No. 42-CT/TW, creating motivation for the volunteer movement to become an indispensable part of the lives of young people. Hundreds of thousands of union members and young people have participated in volunteer activities, actively contributing to social security, building new rural areas and civilized urban areas.

The Youth Union at all levels repaired and built more than 150 rural traffic bridges, renovated and upgraded 530km of roads, lit up 320km of rural roads with solar energy; built and repaired 542 charity houses, gratitude houses, and Red Scarf houses; presented more than 1.7 million welfare bags and support gifts to people and policy families in difficult circumstances, etc.

In addition, the Youth Union at all levels has built many good models and creative ways to educate young people about traditions, ethics and lifestyles. Many healthy and useful playgrounds have been deployed, attracting a large number of young people to participate, contributing to the formation of a dynamic, creative and patriotic young generation.

The Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee awarded certificates of merit to collectives with outstanding achievements in protecting the Party's ideological foundation in 2024.

In 2024, the Youth Union at all levels will also be proactive and active in propaganda work, information orientation and fighting against the wrong views of hostile forces. Thereby, building a strong, dedicated core force with firm political will, ready to carry out the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation.

Individuals received certificates of merit from the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee for their outstanding achievements in protecting the Party's ideological foundation in 2024.

The conference also listened to many presentations from units, revolving around contents such as staff work at the Party Committee, leadership in implementing and carrying out Directive No. 42-CT/TW; models of revolutionary ideal education; effective models in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; leadership, implementation and carrying out the work of protecting the Party's ideological foundation.

Speaking at the conference, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union - Tran Hai Phu suggested that Youth Union chapters at all levels need to be creative in the method of conveying educational content on revolutionary ideals, ethics, and lifestyle, ensuring it is attractive and close to young people; promote the application of artificial intelligence (AI) and exploit the power of social networks to spread positive values ​​in the community.
