Returning to Vietnam after 20 years away, what is Lan Anh's impression of Vietnam?
Our country is so beautiful and youthful. I am very impressed with the friendliness and hospitality of the people. I am proud of the achievements our country has made in recent years.
It was a pleasure to return to Vietnam and explore my homeland. I have been to many places, from urban to rural, mountainous areas and experienced many unique cultures, both traditional and modern. Those things left a deep and unforgettable impression on me.
Currently, Lan Anh has not participated much in showbiz, is it because of her limited Vietnamese?
My Vietnamese is still a work in progress, but that is not the only reason why I rarely participate in showbiz activities. Currently, I want to focus on volunteer work and environmental communication. I hope to contribute more to society through practical work, thereby spreading positive messages to the community.
What is Lan Anh most worried about when she is in Vietnam?
I always wonder how I can contribute more to my homeland. I hope to use my knowledge and experience to contribute to the community and help those in difficult circumstances in society.
Normally, a girl representing Vietnam in an international beauty pageant is also considered a cultural ambassador, contributing to promoting Vietnamese culture, country and people to international friends. Meanwhile, Lan Anh has lived abroad for too long, does not fully understand Vietnamese culture, but has excellently won the title of 2nd Runner-up. Can you share more about this journey?
Although living abroad, Lan Anh grew up in a traditional family. My mother is a woman with a strong Vietnamese tradition, always cooking Vietnamese dishes and telling me about the culture of her homeland.
During my participation in Miss Earth, I tried my best to express Vietnamese identity through traditional costumes in the competitions, introducing the unique features of Vietnamese culture to international friends. I also actively participated in volunteer activities in the highlands to help local people. Those were truly valuable experiences.
In addition to the title of 2nd Runner-up of the contest, Lan Anh also received the award for Best Appearance. This made Vietnamese fans extremely proud. How did Lan Anh feel at that time?
When I was announced as the winner of the Impressive Appearance award, I was extremely surprised and happy.
What surprised me even more was hearing the word Vietnam being called out when announcing the Best Traditional Costume award in the final night.
It was truly a memorable moment and I felt proud of my country and myself. I had worked very hard and was happy that my efforts had paid off.
What did Lan Anh do with her Miss and Runner-up awards?
When I receive the bonus, I will carry out charity projects, protect the environment and support disadvantaged young people as well as partially support scholarships for students.
I hope I can contribute to bringing positive things to society. In addition, I will use part of the prize money to improve my knowledge and skills, with the desire to fulfill the role of Miss well.
Every year, Vietnam has many beauty queens crowned, but not all of them leave their own mark and are accepted and loved by the public. How does Lan Anh plan to make many marks during her term?
I know that not every beauty queen has her own mark and is loved by the public. This puts a little pressure on me, but it is also a motivation for me, helping me to always be aware of trying harder.
In the coming time, I plan to focus on activities to raise public awareness about the importance of environmental protection, and at the same time, actively participate in volunteer activities to help people in difficult circumstances.
I will also organize propaganda and education activities on environmental protection for students; participate in tree planting and forest protection campaigns; support recycling and waste reduction projects...
I believe that with my efforts and attempts, I will create my own mark in the hearts of the public, contributing to spreading positive messages to the community.

This year, Lan Anh will celebrate Lunar New Year in Vietnam?
Of course, I will celebrate Tet in Vietnam. I am very excited to celebrate Tet in my homeland after a long time away.
I started preparing for Tet very early, such as shopping for clothes, decorations, and preparing gifts to send to relatives. I have scheduled activities during Tet such as going to the temple, visiting relatives, and celebrating New Year's Eve with my family.
During Tet in Vietnam, people often spend a lot of time with their families and visit relatives to wish them a lucky new year. What about Tet in America?
Tet in Vietnam and Tet in the US have many differences. In Vietnam, Tet is an important holiday, meaning reunion and gathering. People often spend a lot of time with their families, visit relatives and receive lucky money.
In America, Tet is also important, but it does not have the traditional meaning as in Vietnam, and is not considered a major holiday. However, the Vietnamese community in America still maintains traditional cultural features such as going to pagodas, wishing a happy new year, eating banh chung, banh tet...
In Vietnam, Tet usually lasts 7-10 days. During this time, people usually rest, visit relatives and friends, and participate in cultural and entertainment activities. Tet in the US usually lasts 1-2 days, people usually go shopping, go out and gather with friends.
My most memorable memory of Tet is wrapping banh chung with my family. That year, my parents showed me how to wrap banh chung to give to friends and relatives. We played together, wished each other a happy new year and ate traditional dishes. I was very happy to see my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins in Vietnam again.
