Every spring, millions of Vietnamese people eagerly make pilgrimages to Phu Tho, the origin of the Vietnamese nation, to pay tribute to the merits of their ancestors and the Hung Kings who built the country. With Phu Tho, with the affection, honor and responsibility of representing the people of the whole country to look after the mausoleums and incense to worship their ancestors, the province always carefully prepares for the destination on the journey back to the origin of the people of the whole country and Vietnamese people living abroad; at the same time, it is also an opportunity for the province to promote the unique cultural identity of the Ancestral Land to domestic and foreign tourists. Therefore, the Hung Kings' Commemoration Anniversary and the Ancestral Land Culture - Tourism Week are held annually as both a pilgrimage to the origin and a unique cultural - ecological - spiritual tourism "tour".

The Hung Kings' Commemoration Day and the Cultural - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in the year of At Ty 2025 will take place from March 29 to April 7, 2025 (ie from the 1st to the 10th day of the 3rd lunar month). In particular, the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day activities will be organized solemnly, respectfully, and respectfully according to the national cultural tradition with incense and flower offering rituals by delegations of the Party, Government, ministries, central branches, provinces, cities, and a large number of people nationwide. All organizational work has been completed, ensuring that the activities take place solemnly, respectfully, and with a communal character in the Ceremony; the Festival activities will demonstrate the unique cultural identity of the Ancestral Land.

Originating from the ancient land of Phu Tho, the worship of Hung Kings has now spread throughout the country. According to preliminary statistics, the country currently has more than 1,410 relics worshiping Hung Kings and related to the Hung King era, spread across all regions, from North to South. In Phu Tho province alone, there are more than 340 relics associated with the worship of Hung Kings.

To promote the unique cultural identity of the Ancestral Land during the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day and the Ancestral Land Culture and Tourism Week in the year of At Ty 2025, the province has established a Press Center (from March 29 to April 7, 2025), located at the Tourist Reception and Art Performance House (in the Hung Temple Historical Relic Site). The province has coordinated and supported the provision of information, documents, and images to central and local press reporters nationwide to promote the activities of the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day and the Ancestral Land Culture and Tourism Week in the year of At Ty 2025.

Since 1995, the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day has been noted in the Secretariat's announcement as a major holiday of the year. Then, on April 2, 2007, the National Assembly approved the amendment and supplement to Article 73 of the Labor Law allowing employees to take time off and receive full pay on the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day. In 2025, March 10 (lunar calendar) falls on Monday (April 7), so this year's holiday will last 3 days, from April 5 to April 7, 2025, creating favorable conditions in terms of time for people across the country to gather in Phu Tho on the journey back to their roots.

The 2025 Culture - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land is organized with many rich activities, attracting tourists to Phu Tho such as: Art program to open the 2025 Culture - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land; the book fair of the Ancestral Land; thematic exhibition introducing documents and artifacts of the Hung King period; cultural camp and exhibition, promotion, introduction of local products and products; mass art festival and Phu Tho folk songs; Xoan singing performance of ancient villages; contest of wrapping, cooking banh chung, pounding banh giay; Hung Vuong Cup Volleyball tournament for strong teams, "Returning to the source" Marathon...

In particular, the highlight of Phu Tho tourism on the occasion of this year's Hung Kings' Death Anniversary is the event "Colors of Tourism of the Ancestral Land - Phu Tho in 2025" taking place from April 3 to 7 at Van Lang Park. Within the framework of the event, there will be many activities to promote and introduce Phu Tho tourism; promote tourism development linkages; preserve and promote cultural heritage... "Colors of Tourism of the Ancestral Land" is an invitation for tourists to explore their roots, immerse themselves in nature, and enjoy the unique culture of Phu Tho.

On the occasion of the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day and the Cultural - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in the year of At Ty 2025, the provincial tourism sector has coordinated with tourism businesses and travel agencies to launch a series of stimulus programs and attract tourists to Phu Tho, such as the opportunity to reduce 20-50% of food and accommodation service prices; receive free vouchers to experience Xoan singing, stam duong, tea picking, making Hung Lo rice noodles, wrapping banh chung, pounding banh giay... Therefore, the number of tourists to the Ancestral Land is expected to increase, accommodation service businesses in the province have prepared the necessary conditions, renovated rooms and premises, ensured security, and are ready to welcome tourists. According to statistics, the province currently has 381 accommodation businesses, of which 50 hotels and 331 motels have been assessed as qualified to serve tourists.

The Hung Kings' Commemoration Day and the Cultural - Tourism Week of the Ancestral Land in the year of At Ty 2025 continue to be an opportunity for Phu Tho province to affirm its position as a center of cultural - ecological - spiritual tourism in the country. With more than 300 festivals, the land of origin is one of the provinces with the most festivals in the country, especially in January. From cities to rural areas, from plains to highlands, each region has its own unique festivals and values, creating the cultural identity of the Ancestral Land. The Department of Industry and Trade has developed a plan to stabilize the commodity market, assigning distribution units to prepare a good supply of goods to serve the Hung Kings' Commemoration Day, avoiding shortages, shortages, and sudden price increases in order to serve the people and tourists well; districts, cities, and towns have proactively coordinated with the Hung Kings Temple Historical Site to build, design, and install cultural camps to ensure that they are imbued with traditional culture, creating attractive highlights for people and tourists on their journey back to the roots of the Vietnamese nation.
