Lam Dong will not use state budget to organize Da Lat Flower Festival 2024

With the theme Dalat Flowers - Symphony of Colors , the 10th Dalat Flower Festival in 2024 will take place from December 5 to 31 with many unique activities, continuing to affirm Dalat as the "flower city" of Vietnam, a creative city in the field of music of UNESCO and a city in the "Group of 5 impressive Festival cities of Asia".

At the press conference, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee Pham S said that the province will not use the state budget to organize the 2024 Da Lat Flower Festival because of the cooperation of the whole society. The festival's products will include both intangible and tangible products with long-term value.

With a colorful flower space created by flower miniatures on the lake surface and around Xuan Huong Lake with a unique model, bearing the unique characteristics of Da Lat city. The flower space is also expanded to parks, miniatures, streets, residential areas, tourist attractions in Da Lat city and surrounding areas with the active participation and companionship of businesses, organizations and households.

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong highly appreciated Da Lat's efforts to beautify the city's appearance, making it green, clean and beautiful. The works will continue to be used and their value will be promoted after the festival.

Mr. Ta Quang Dong noted that in addition to focusing on organizing activities, it is necessary to aim at building the cultural style of Da Lat people "Gentle - elegant - hospitable"... This is the focus that needs to continue to be promoted not only in the festival, in order to develop culture and so that culture is always the foundation for local socio-economic development.

Da Lat Flower Festival is a tourist event that domestic and foreign tourists look forward to.

In addition to the main programs, there are 12 response programs and many other new and attractive programs implemented by organizations, businesses and individuals inside and outside the province.

The opening ceremony of the 10th Da Lat Flower Festival will be broadcast live at 8:00 p.m. on December 5 from Lam Vien Square (Da Lat) with a special art program, elaborately staged, grandiose with many new effects. This is also an important highlight in the overall program of this Flower Festival.

The art program to welcome the new year 2025 combined with the closing ceremony of the Da Lat Flower Festival will take place at 8:00 p.m. on December 31, concluding the Da Lat Flower Festival 2024.
