Accordingly, based on the results of the implementation of the process of reviewing, considering and enforcing discipline on Party organizations and Party members, the Standing Committee of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee and the Executive Committee of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee discussed and found that: The Party Committee of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee for the 2004 - 2011 and 2011 - 2016 terms violated the principle of democratic centralism, the working regulations of the Provincial Party Committee and the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee; lacked responsibility, loosened leadership and direction, allowing investors to commit violations and shortcomings in the field of bidding and purchasing equipment provided by Tien Bo International Joint Stock Company (AIC) and enterprises in the AIC "ecosystem"; some projects and bidding packages had violations and shortcomings, causing serious consequences, with the risk of causing loss of the State budget.
The Standing Committee of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee voted to discipline in the form of a warning the Party Committee of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee for the 2004-2011 term and the Party Committee of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee for the 2011-2016 term.
Related to the Covid-19 Prevention Fund, some officials in Gia Lai were disciplined
Based on the content, nature, level, and consequences of the violation, according to the Party's regulations on disciplinary action against Party organizations and violating Party members, the Provincial Party Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee voted to impose disciplinary action in the form of a warning on two Party members: Mr. Phung Ngoc My, former member of the Provincial Party Committee, former member of the Party Executive Committee, former Vice Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee and Mr. Mai Xuan Hai, former member of the Provincial Party Committee, former Director of the Department of Health, former Director of the Gia Lai Provincial General Hospital.
Regarding the management of the province's Covid-19 Prevention Fund, the Standing Committee of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee decided to discipline by expelling from the Party Ms. Dinh Thi Giang, former Deputy Secretary of the Party Delegation, former Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Lai province, term X (2019 - 2024).
The Gia Lai Provincial Party Executive Committee also reported to the Central Inspection Committee to request competent authorities to consider and take disciplinary action according to regulations against Mr. Ho Van Diem, former member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, former Secretary of the Party Delegation, former Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Gia Lai province, term X, 2019 - 2024.
At the conference, the Standing Committee of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee also decided to discipline by expelling from the Party Mr. Phan Trung Tuong, former member of the District Party Committee, former Secretary of the District People's Committee Office, former Vice Chairman of the Ia Grai District People's Committee, due to being prosecuted for criminal liability related to violations occurring at the Ia Grai District Land Registration Office branch.
