On the morning of June 29, under the chairmanship of National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, the 15th National Assembly held its closing session. Thus, after more than 27 days of working with a positive, urgent, serious and highly responsible spirit, the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly has completed all the contents and programs set out. During this session, National Assembly Deputies of Thai Nguyen province upheld their sense of responsibility, discussed enthusiastically, democratically, frankly and focusedly; many opinions were expressed with wisdom, depth and in a constructive spirit.

In his closing speech, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man emphasized that the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly is the session with the largest volume of legislative work at a single session since the beginning of the term. The draft laws and resolutions considered and approved by the National Assembly at this session relate to many sectors and fields, and have received great attention and follow-up from voters and people nationwide. Personnel work has been carried out strictly in accordance with Party regulations and State laws, achieving high consensus and unanimity among National Assembly deputies.
The National Assembly, the Government, ministries, branches, and relevant agencies and organizations have demonstrated high responsibility in preparing the content to be submitted to the National Assembly. At the session, 936 National Assembly deputies registered to speak and 750 deputies spoke, of which 708 deputies spoke in discussions, 42 deputies debated in the discussion session in the hall; more than 2,000 deputies spoke in the discussion group session. At the session, with a high approval rate, the National Assembly voted to pass 11 laws; considered and passed 21 resolutions, of which 3 were legal resolutions.
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man emphasized that in order to ensure that “laws are implemented fairly, strictly, consistently, promptly, effectively and efficiently”, the National Assembly requested the Government, National Assembly agencies, relevant agencies and organizations to focus on directing, thoroughly grasping and promptly implementing the laws and resolutions that have just been passed at the 7th Session. At the same time, he requested relevant agencies and National Assembly deputies to continue to study, proactively and promptly prepare the contents to be submitted to the National Assembly for consideration and approval at the upcoming 8th Session.
Stating: 2024 is an important year in successfully implementing the tasks of the entire 2021-2026 term; The National Assembly Chairman emphasized that with new confidence, new spirit, new motivation, believing that, under the correct, close and timely leadership and direction of the Party; the proactive, accompanying, flexible, close and effective supervision of the National Assembly; the drastic, effective and efficient management, direction and administration of the Government; the close coordination of sectors, levels and localities; the synchronous participation of the entire political system and the efforts and striving of the entire Party, the entire people, the entire army and the business community, our country will definitely overcome difficulties and challenges, achieve the highest socio-economic development goals in 2024, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress./.
