World gold price drops, SJC brand still increases 2 million VND per tael

Although the world gold price has decreased, the domestic SJC brand continued to increase strongly in the opening session this morning (April 18).

At 9:00 a.m., the price of SJC gold at Saigon Jewelry Company and Doji was listed at 117-120 million VND/tael, an increase of 2 million VND/tael. At Bao Tin Minh Chau Company, the price of SJC gold was also announced at 117-120 million VND/tael.

Meanwhile, the price of gold rings also increased sharply, when this business announced the price of plain round gold rings from 116.50-119.50 million VND/tael (buy/sell), an increase of 1.5 million VND/tael compared to the previous closing price.

Thus, the domestic gold price has increased continuously from the beginning of the week until this morning, with the adjustment of the SJC brand up to 13 million VND/tael and ring gold about 13.9 million VND/tael.

In the world, the price of gold fluctuated around 3,327 USD/ounce, down about 14 USD compared to the same time last session. This price is equivalent to 104.60 million VND/tael when converted according to the USD exchange rate at Vietcombank.

This morning, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate on April 18 at 24,898 VND/USD, up 5 VND compared to the previous session. With a margin of +/-5%, BIDV Bank bought at 25,752 VND/USD and sold at 26,112 VND/USD, up 52 VND.

Vietcombank announced from 25,740-26,100 VND, up 40 VND. Vietinbank traded from 25,745-26,105 VND/USD (buy/sell), up 35 VND. However, Agribank traded from 25,710-26,050 VND/USD, remaining stable compared to the previous session's close. /.
