The delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front surveyed the construction of a residential area in Dong Thap

On the afternoon of April 14, 2025, the working delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, led by Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front To Thi Bich Chau, came to survey and serve the construction of a guide for a united, prosperous and happy residential area at the office of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap province.

Receiving the working delegation were comrade Dinh Van Dung, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, together with the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, representatives of leaders of socio-political organizations of the Province, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Provincial Police, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Cao Lanh district and Cao Lanh city.

The representative of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee reported on the results of the implementation of campaigns, emulation movements and existing titles in the residential areas of Dong Thap province. Typical are the campaigns "All people unite to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas", the campaign "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods", the campaign to implement the program "Eliminating temporary houses", building residential areas "Security - Safety - Peace for the people", the emulation movement "Unity and creativity, improving productivity, quality, efficiency, international integration", the movement "For the poor - leaving no one behind" launched by the Prime Minister, the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life"...

During the program, the delegation conducted a field survey in Phuong Thinh commune (Cao Lanh district) and Hoa Thuan ward (Cao Lanh city); directly met with representatives of Party committees, authorities, Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political and cultural organizations at the commune level, and the Front Working Committees of some residential areas; and listened to representatives of the Standing Committees of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of communes and wards report on the construction of united, prosperous and happy residential areas.

On behalf of the working delegation, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front To Thi Bich Chau highly appreciated the effective methods and approaches to implementing campaigns, emulation movements and existing titles of Dong Thap, especially the local governance models that have created positive effects not only in the locality, but also spread throughout the country; through the survey, to evaluate a number of self-management models in the community, emulation titles in residential areas in implementing current campaigns and emulation movements; to acknowledge the contributions and proposals of useful and practical solutions from the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Thap province and delegates, as a basis for consideration, research and integration to guide the building of united and developed residential areas.
