BTO-This afternoon, June 24, the 5th session of the 15th National Assembly held its closing session, completing the entire agenda and achieving great success. In particular, the National Assembly reviewed and approved the Resolution of the 5th session with many important contents, including a resolution to adjust some contents of Resolution No. 93 on the investment policy of the Ka Pet Reservoir Project, Ham Thuan Nam District, Binh Thuan Province.

The meeting better meets practical requirements

After 23 days of enthusiastic, urgent, scientific, democratic and highly responsible work, the 5th session of the 15th National Assembly completed the entire proposed program and was a great success.

At this session, the National Assembly reviewed a large amount of work, deciding on many important contents not only for 2023 but also for the 2021-2025 period and the following years. In response to practical requirements, the National Assembly also flexibly adjusted and added content to the session agenda. The contents reviewed and decided at this session all achieved very high consensus. Through many group discussions and plenary discussions in the hall, the National Assembly passed 8 laws and 17 resolutions; gave opinions on 8 other draft laws and resolved on many other important contents. In particular, the National Assembly reviewed and passed the Resolution of the 5th session of the 15th National Assembly with many important contents, including a resolution to adjust a number of contents of Resolution No. 93/2019/QH14 on the investment policy of the Ka Pet Reservoir Project, Ham Thuan Nam District, Binh Thuan Province.

Speaking at the closing session, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue asked National Assembly deputies to promptly report to voters nationwide on the results of the session, regularly maintain close contact, listen to and honestly reflect the opinions and aspirations of voters, encourage people to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; actively supervise the organization and implementation of the Constitution and laws, including the laws and resolutions recently passed by the National Assembly. The National Assembly Chairman affirmed that the 5th session of the 15th National Assembly was a great success, continuing to innovate and create, increasingly better meeting practical requirements.

The National Assembly Chairman emphasized that the results of the session affirmed that the National Assembly, the President, the Government, the Prime Minister, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and relevant agencies and organizations always listen to the opinions of voters and people, proactively and actively coordinate to promptly make important decisions, effectively resolve practical issues, remove difficulties and obstacles, contribute to the recovery and socio-economic development of the country, demonstrating that the National Assembly always represents the wisdom of the entire people, constantly innovates, contributes and acts for the interests of voters, people and the country.

The provincial National Assembly delegation held its closing session this afternoon, June 24.

Discussing the activities of the National Assembly Delegation of Binh Thuan province at the 5th session of the 15th National Assembly, delegate Nguyen Huu Thong - Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation said: At the 5th session of the 15th National Assembly, 7/7 delegates of the National Assembly Delegation seriously participated in all activities of the session program; clearly demonstrating the responsibilities and powers of delegates according to the Constitution and the law. The National Assembly delegates were proactive, active, and spent time focusing on carefully studying the documents before participating in discussions, questioning, and voting...

The provincial National Assembly Delegation had 29 comments, including 23 comments discussed in groups and 6 comments discussed in the hall. In order to prepare well for the discussion contents at the 5th session, the provincial National Assembly Delegation organized conferences to discuss, research, contribute ideas and organize meetings with voters to contribute ideas to the draft laws; all contents of the session were actively contributed by National Assembly deputies in the Delegation. The provincial National Assembly Delegates studied and actively discussed the contents of the session. In addition to participating in the activities at the session, the provincial National Assembly Delegation also participated in a number of coordination activities with other sectors. Specifically, attending the Conference to collect opinions on the Ka Pet Lake project, Ham Thuan Nam district organized by the Committee for Science, Technology and Environment; working with ministries and sectors related to issues of Binh Thuan province.

In particular, at this session, the National Assembly resolved to adjust the content of Resolution No. 93/2019/QH14 on the investment policy of the Ka Pet Reservoir Project, Ham Thuan Nam District, Binh Thuan Province. Specifically, the land use area of the project is 697.73 hectares; the implementation period is from 2019 to the end of 2025. The total investment and capital source of the project is VND 874,089 billion, including the central budget of VND 519,927 billion and the local budget of VND 354,162 billion; extending the disbursement time of VND 47.3 billion of the central budget reserve capital until December 31, 2023; expanding the location of replacement forestation according to the provisions of the law on forestry; assigning the Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province to decide on project investment; The order of project investment preparation, appraisal and decision shall comply with the provisions of the law on public investment and relevant legal provisions for group A projects managed by the provincial level; ensuring project completion progress. Other contents shall continue to be implemented in accordance with Resolution No. 93/2019/QH14; in case of need to adjust the project investment policy during the time the National Assembly is not in session, the National Assembly shall authorize the National Assembly Standing Committee to consider and decide.
