Kun Marathon Hai Phong opens registration portal

Kun Marathon Hai Phong opens free registration for 1,000 running slots for children aged 6 to 10 at 3:00 p.m. on December 4.

Kun Marathon comes to Hai Phong city for the first time. The race for children from 6 to 10 years old will take place on December 16. Each parent can register up to 5 children, by filling in the information here. When successful, parents will receive a confirmation email from the organizer. The system will automatically close when the number is full.

To ensure the safety of the children, Kun Marathon Hai Phong only has 1,500 seats. Previously, on November 2, the organizers opened priority registration through a minigame and selected 250 lucky children.

Kun Marathon Hai Phong is the last tournament in 2023. Last year, the tournament registered 7 provinces and cities across the country. Some tournaments in Nha Trang, Quy Nhon, Hanoi, the organizers opened the official registration portal, less than an hour later, the number of participants was full, showing the attraction of the event. Many parents said that their children were very excited, waiting for the day to register for the race for a whole month.

Ms. Ha Van (Hai Duong) has two children who have participated in 7 Kun Marathons. This year, the children participated in all three tournaments in the North: Ha Long, Hanoi, Hai Phong and Quy Nhon - which took place during the summer vacation. She said that she always arranges her work to take her children to the tournaments if they do not have school schedules. "My husband and I agree to take our children to run at least 3 times a year. Because I see that they are bolder, happier and more mature after each trip. Later, when my children are no longer old enough to run Kun, I will probably buy them a Bib for them to run 5km at VnExpress Marathon," Ms. Van said.

Kun Marathon is a side event of the VnExpress Marathon. Children will conquer a nearly 1km long running track. On the track, there are suitable challenges to stimulate movement.

Upon completing the race, children will receive medals. Starting from Kun Marathon Hanoi 2023, the medals for children have changed in design. Particularly, young runners with good results in each race will receive medals in three colors: gold, silver, bronze and other valuable prizes.

The day before the race, the Organizing Committee will distribute race-kits. The children will be given a race-kit including a cloth bag, T-shirt, hat, Bib and many other items. The T-shirt and Bib come in 5 colors, divided by age from 6 to 10.

Besides exercising and improving health, children participating in the tournament will have the opportunity to interact with famous people.
