Runners run on the central streets past the Opera House, Lach Tray Stadium before heading straight through Highway 353 to the city outskirts. The 21km, 5km and 10km distances start at 5:30am, 5am and 6:15am respectively, exploring winding roads, clinging to the coast.
Hong Le (red shirt) and her group of friends received Bib VM Hai Phong.
Due to the cold air, the temperature in Hai Phong dropped sharply on the morning of the race, below 15 degrees. When competing early in the morning, many windy sections made the runners feel the cold more clearly.
