“Live - #LiveStream” clearly depicts the reality of life, the nakedness of modern society.
There, 4.0 technology has made people do everything to become famous, even torturing themselves to receive praise and glitz with compliments and innocuous text, making money by "giving flowers".
Scene from the movie “Live - #LiveBroadcast”.
The trailer “Live - #LiveStream” started “noisily” with a MUKBANG (eat a lot) contest with 4 famous people in the MUKBANG village and the contest was spread more widely with praise and criticism debates by some influential people on social networking platforms (KOLS - abbreviation of Key Opinions Leaders).
The film features many famous faces on the internet today. In real life, Long Chun, Hoang Anh Panda, Tina Thao Nhi, Tuan Kiet... also attract a lot of "hearts" and a large number of followers from netizens (users in cyberspace) on their own channels on social platforms.
Actors Kha Nhu, BB Tran, and Hai Trieu also made cameo appearances, true to their usual style when appearing on social networks.
However, the latter part of the trailer seems to change direction, Quoc Khanh as Hoang (one of the famous KOLS) has to hide, is surrounded, chased, insulted, has signs posted everywhere... and even has images of self-harm in the most negative way.
Actor - Director Khuong Ngoc.
The special point in "Live - #LiveStream" is that director Khuong Ngoc conveyed a message that is clearly shown in the poster "Everyone is the main character".
For the first time in Vietnam, “Live - #LiveStream” is a movie with a supernatural, realistic color scheme in which all the actors participating are the main characters. The movie does not have the concept of a main poster, the main characters are Ngoc Phuoc and Quoc Khanh, who are the two representative characters in the movie.
The poster uses emotionless AI technology images to depict the “virtuality” of cyberspace, the cold, soulless text of cyberspace accounts. Because when online, everyone is anonymous, no one knows who is real, who is fake, sometimes all the people attacking you are just one person, virtual accounts created by computers.
“Live - #LiveStream” is the third film that Khuong Ngoc has directed. Each film has a different color and genre, giving him many new experiences.
In his return as director, Khuong Ngoc will bring a thoughtful perspective on issues that are all too familiar in today's society when what happens on film is too familiar and at least once we all commit them.
This is also the first time Khuong Ngoc has made a film about social networks, even though he is a "lazy" person on social networks.
The director and actor said: “Everyone has their own strengths and efforts. I see that young people on social networks today are very talented. Social networks are also a place where fierce competition takes place because social networking platforms make it easy to express one's opinions and personality without being constrained."
Movie released on September 22.
“Live - #PhấtTrúcTiếng” is the first Vietnamese film to directly address the issue of social media violence and will be officially released in theaters on September 22.
The film is adapted from the short story collection “Horror City” by author Nguyen Ngoc Thach and directed by Khuong Ngoc. “Live - #LiveStream” features: Ngoc Phuoc, Quoc Khanh, Ngan 98, Khuong Ngoc, Kha Nhu, BB Tran, Hai Trieu, Long Chun…
