As the cold winds begin to gently visit Saigon, the Christmas season also creeps into every street corner.
One of the must-see destinations for young people this time of year is April Tea Shop, located peacefully in a small alley on Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street, District 3.

The restaurant is considered the place to “welcome Christmas earliest in Ho Chi Minh City”. On Sunday morning, December 22, when Christmas was only a few days away, a constant stream of cars poured into the small alley.
Few people will notice the restaurant if they just look from the outside gate. But when entering, customers will immediately be immersed in the brilliant festival atmosphere.

The entire space of the restaurant is covered in red and green - two typical colors of Christmas.
Large pine trees, wreaths, twinkling lights and pretty gift boxes are cleverly arranged everywhere.

Every little corner of the shop becomes a perfect "background" for emotional souvenir photos.
On this occasion, it is not difficult to see young people coming to the shop very early, preparing costumes and makeup tools to change many photo shooting styles.

Not only attracting young people, many small families also take the opportunity to bring their children here to enjoy the warm atmosphere of the festival season.
Mr. Tuan, an office worker living in District 3, shared: “I took my wife and son here to take some souvenir photos. After that, the whole family went upstairs to sip coffee, relax and enjoy the year-end atmosphere.”
Drinks and cakes at the restaurant cost from 49,000-65,000 VND/portion, suitable for many customers' budgets.

To ensure the best experience, the restaurant has staff standing outside the gate to guide you where to park your vehicle, with a parking fee of 10,000 VND/motorbike.
Inside, the staff is always busy serving, because the large number of customers sometimes makes the space to move around cramped.
If April Tea Shop brings a bustling atmosphere, Thanh Cafe on Nhieu Tu Street, Phu Nhuan District is quiet but no less warm.

The restaurant has three floors designed in a classic style. In addition to the Christmas space, the restaurant also decorates corners dedicated to the traditional New Year, creating an interesting feeling of the changing seasons.
According to Mr. Tien, the restaurant representative, the decoration is not only for customers to take pictures but also to bring a light festive atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.

“We want guests to feel comfortable when they come here. Rules such as keeping quiet or not bringing children are also clearly announced from the beginning so that everyone can have the most complete experience,” Mr. Tien shared.

Nguyen Linh, a senior student at HUTECH, chose Thanh Cafe on Sunday morning to both work and take photos.
“I have both Christmas photos to keep up with the trend and a quiet space to study. This is the perfect choice for busy Gen Z like me,” Linh shared.
