"I owe everything to Barcelona. Everything here is perfect and I am very happy. The reception, the affection that the fans and my teammates have given me, these things are priceless," Lamine Yamal expressed.
Lamine Yamal also recalled the offer worth more than 200 million euros from PSG last summer, to confirm that he never wanted to leave Barcelona and could stay for the rest of his career: "PSG's offer? Personally, I have not received any offers. But even if they contacted someone in my group, they would receive a definite no. I have a contract, I do not think I will go to another club. I love Barcelona".
Lamine Yamal is currently under contract with Barcelona until June 2026 with a buyout clause of up to 1 billion euros. The Catalan club are preparing to offer him a new contract in July this year when he turns 18.
"There is absolutely no doubt, I am a huge Barcelona fan. I really want to stay at this club. If both parties want something to happen, it will happen. I owe Barcelona everything," Lamine Yamal emphasized.
