On October 27, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department's Investigation Security Agency issued a decision to prosecute Huynh The Nang (64 years old, former General Director of the Southern Food Corporation) and Dinh Truong Chinh (49 years old, former Director of Viet Han Real Estate Construction Advertising Trading Company Limited) for violating regulations on management and use of State assets, causing loss and waste.

Previously, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department's Security Investigation Agency investigated and clarified violations at the Southern Food Corporation (VINAFOOD II) and a number of related units.
Based on the investigation results and collected documents and evidence, the police determined that Huynh The Nang and Dinh Truong Chinh had violated the law in the management and use of land plots at 33 Nguyen Du and 34, 36, 42 Chu Manh Trinh, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City, causing particularly serious damage to the State.
Currently, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Security Investigation Agency is focusing on expanding the investigation of the case and applying measures according to legal regulations to strictly handle those involved and recover lost assets for the State.
