Prosecuted 2 drug rehabilitation center students for illegal possession of drugs

On September 17, news from the Investigation Police Agency of Soc Trang City Police (Soc Trang) said that the unit has just issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute the accused against Dang Ngoc Son and Nguyen Van Dat, both students undergoing drug rehabilitation at the Soc Trang Province Drug Rehabilitation Center, to investigate the act of illegal possession of drugs.

Dang Ngoc Son was prosecuted for illegal possession of drugs.

Previously, on August 30, Soc Trang City Police caught Dang Ngoc Son in the act of illegally possessing more than 9 grams of crystal meth. At the police station, Son confessed that he had organized drug use with 14 other students in the same room many times. The drugs and tools were provided by Nguyen Van Dat, who was in the same room.

Dat confessed to using a mobile phone to buy drugs, and the tools used were already in the room.

Nguyen Van Dat was prosecuted for illegal possession of drugs.

The Investigation Police Agency of Soc Trang City is expanding the investigation to clarify the organization, purchase, sale, storage and illegal use of drugs at the Soc Trang Province Drug Rehabilitation Center for handling according to the provisions of law. At the same time, report and recommend competent authorities to consider and handle the responsibilities of related organizations and individuals in the management of students.
