Households that give up land for the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway but do not meet the conditions for resettlement land will be able to buy social housing in Phuoc Tan ward.
On December 21, in Dong Nai, construction of phase 1 of the social housing project, block A, Phuoc Tan ward, Bien Hoa, began. This social housing project has an area of about 4 hectares, with a scale of more than 1,200 apartments.
Construction of social housing has begun, this will be a new place to live for people who gave up land to build the highway but did not meet the conditions for resettlement land.
For this social housing project, in phase 1, the company will build block A, with 275 apartments, with a construction period of 14 months.
Also during this period, the company is completing procedures to build 2 more blocks in the second quarter of 2025 to have about 800 apartments, providing accommodation for households whose land is recovered in the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project, while contributing to the development of the province's social housing fund.
Mr. Vo Van Phi - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that this is a social housing project of important and urgent significance.
This project will serve to provide accommodation for people who are not eligible for resettlement when land is acquired for the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway and many other people.

The provincial People's Committee leaders requested the investor and contractors to focus resources to implement the project on schedule, ensuring quality and labor safety. At the same time, they also requested the investor to quickly complete documents and procedures to implement phase 2 soon.
