Smart with money - Avoid worries is the first financial comic for Vietnamese families, published by Kim Dong Publishing House in December.

The book revolves around basic financial knowledge, such as money (history of money, economic and social value of money, inflation, deflation, interest rates, exchange rates... how they affect life, behavior in currency transactions, domestic currency, foreign currency...); financial investment (stocks, bonds, insurance, fund certificates...) or banking (history, banking activities, notes when saving, borrowing, paying...).
Cover of the book "Be smart with money - Avoid worries".
Nearly 30 stories, divided into 3 chapters, tell about the family of the boy Tin Dung including his grandparents, mother Kim Ngan, father Tiet Kiem, Tin Dung and his younger sister Tai Chinh.
The big Tin Dung family has to face many happy and sad situations, worries about money and finance. They are lucky to receive special help from "financial doctor" Tien Huyen. From financial prescriptions, they understand the importance of having knowledge and knowing how to manage.
In the story of the savings book and the bottle of Penicillin, Dr. Tien Huyen prescribed medicine to "go to savings", emphasizing "4 no's" and "5 yes's".
In which, "4 no's" include: Do not ask others to deposit money on your behalf, including bank employees; Do not sign fake bank documents; Do not deposit money outside the legal location of the bank; Do not lend savings books.
And the "5 yeses" include: Check bank notifications to understand balance fluctuations; Comply with bank regulations on savings deposits; Deposit within the bank's prescribed time frame; Carefully check the information on the savings book; Promptly notify the bank if the savings book is lost.
"Savings" prescription with concise and easy-to-understand information.
As a boy with aspirations and goals, Tin Dung strives to study abroad, with the desire to return to build and support his homeland from his financial knowledge. The boy carries his love for his homeland, family, teachers, and friends across five continents, with a sense of responsibility to contribute to the country.
The intimate stories of the Tin Dung family are inspired by author Thuy Sen from real life, real daily stories in society, such as: scams from fake police calls, falling into the black credit trap, inflationary meals...
"The biggest difficulty for me is to convey knowledge about finance and banking in a way that anyone who reads it will see themselves in it, easy to understand, easy to apply, and rich in humanity and education to move towards good things. Each chapter, each story begins with a folk song or proverb, opening up a story about humanity, family affection, camaraderie...
