On the afternoon of August 8, a delegation from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and scientists attending the workshop “Dong Son Culture - 100 years of discovery, preservation and promotion of values” conducted a field survey at relic sites of Dong Son Culture.

The working delegation visited the 6th excavation pit of Dong Son archaeological site.

At Dong Son ancient village (Thanh Hoa city), the working delegation and scientists visited Pham Thong pagoda (or Dong Son pagoda), the 6th excavation pit of Dong Son archaeological site.

The tourist sites all have typical characteristics of Dong Son Culture, affirming the process of birth, existence and development of Dong Son Culture.

Also at Pham Thong Pagoda, at the 6th excavation pit of Dong Son archaeological site, the Management Board introduced to the working delegation the process of preserving and promoting the value of the relics.

Field surveys at relic sites of Dong Son Culture are activities within the framework of the workshop program "Dong Son Culture - 100 years of discovery, preservation and promotion of values", aiming to bring practical experiences in the process of research, affirming values ​​as well as preserving and promoting the values ​​of Dong Son Culture.
