In Muong La district, the flood caused 64 low-voltage 0.4 kV power poles to collapse and collapse; swept away and collapsed the foundations, tilting 8 35 kV medium-voltage power poles and many other electrical equipment, causing power shortages in the communes of Chieng Lao, Nam Pam, Chieng An, Nam Gion, and Chieng Muon. In Quynh Nhai district, the flood caused 2 positions of 35 kV medium-voltage power poles, a branch of Keo Ca 2 transformer station, Muong Gion commune, and 11 positions of low-voltage power poles to collapse and slide.
Son La Power Company has directed units to urgently inspect the entire system, mobilize forces and equipment, coordinate with commune authorities to deploy solutions to promptly restore power supply. At the same time, it has directed units to continue to arrange workers to closely monitor the flood situation at areas at risk of incidents, proactively prepare handling plans when situations arise, ensuring safety for people.
