Colorful stands

In the past 3 seasons (from 2023 - 2025), the Vietnamese Youth Football Tournament has witnessed many "foreign players" from Cambodia, Laos, and even Nigeria in the team's jersey. This is the factor that makes the tournament attractive and colorful. And in the first time the international Youth Football Tournament was held, this highlight became even more prominent, from the field to the stands of Ton Duc Thang University Stadium.

At the 2025 International TNSV Tournament - THACO Cup, the atmosphere in the stands is always exciting, especially in matches with the participation of the Life University team (Cambodia) or the University of Laos team. In the opening match between the Life University team and the Ton Duc Thang University team, Sok Navy cheered enthusiastically in every attack of both teams. The 21-year-old female student studying Pharmacy at Ton Duc Thang University encouraged the players on the field in... 2 languages, Vietnamese and Cambodian. Speaking Vietnamese like a native, Sok Navy shared: "I rarely watch football matches, but I am very excited to see my fellow countrymen compete in Vietnam, especially at the school I am attending. I feel both happy and nervous". According to Sok Navy, thanks to this opportunity, she had the opportunity to get to know and make friends with many compatriots who are living, studying and working in Ho Chi Minh City. She also shared that she is very proud that the school she attends owns a modern stadium, where tournaments are held so that domestic and international students can exchange and learn from each other.

The matches of the Lao University team are also very exciting because the Lao community in Ho Chi Minh City is quite large, including many students studying at Ton Duc Thang University. More specifically, many Lao students studying at Nguyen Tat Thanh University (Ho Chi Minh City) come to Ton Duc Thang University's stadium not only to cheer for the Lao University team but also to have special feelings for... the Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism team. The endless cheers from the Lao students sometimes overwhelm the cheers from the large number of Thanh Hoa football fans. Ti (19 years old, from Laos), currently an Information Technology student at Nguyen Tat Thanh University, revealed: "We cheer for the Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism team because the team has a Lao goalkeeper (Thatsa Xaiyasone, the best goalkeeper of the THACO Cup 2025 TNSV Finals), who is an acquaintance of ours". Accompanying Ti, Mai Thong (19 years old) and Naliv (21 years old), also studying at Nguyen Tat Thanh University, expressed their excitement about the tournament and wished the Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism team good luck, a smooth competition and continued to be crowned at the 2025 International Youth Volunteer Tournament - THACO Cup.
