Long Hung - Hung Ha land is the place where the Tran dynasty originated and built, the place that holds historical marks, closely associated with the Tran dynasty, the place where the Tran family started their career, and also the resting place of the Tran ancestors. Since the tombs and temples of the Tran kings were restored and embellished, the Tran temple festival has been restored and maintained according to traditional rules. The festival has many traditional rituals imbued with humanity along with traditional folk games and performances originating from the Tran dynasty that have been strictly and sustainably maintained. The Tran Temple Festival in Thai Binh at the special national relic of the tombs and temples of the Tran Dynasty kings takes place from January 13 to 17 every year. It is a spiritual and cultural activity to commemorate and pay tribute to the great contributions of our ancestors in the cause of building and defending the country, bearing deep humanistic values, cultural imprints, and great historical significance, harmoniously combining tradition and modernity, demonstrating the unique cultural features of the land and people of Thai Binh.
In 2014, the tomb and temple complex of the Tran Dynasty kings (Tien Duc commune, Hung Ha district) was ranked as a special national monument; the Tran Temple festival in Thai Binh province was included in the list of national intangible cultural heritages. In September 2021, the Prime Minister approved the master plan for the complex of relics with an area of 195.01 hectares.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Tran Temple Festival, Comrade Tran Thi Bich Hang, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for the Festival, affirmed: Proud to be the birthplace of the Tran Dynasty, for many decades, the Party Committee and people of Thai Binh province have focused on implementing practical activities to honor the special values of the Tran Dynasty cultural heritages in the homeland, while continuing to affirm and enhance the position of the festival, meeting the spiritual needs of all classes of people. Organizing the annual festival will promote cultural and historical values; create new momentum, contributing to building Thai Binh homeland to be more worthy of tradition and on par with the times.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: History has chosen the land of Hung Ha - Thai Binh as a land of talented people, the place where the Tran Dynasty started its career; therefore, the special national relic of the tombs and temples of the Tran Dynasty kings in Hung Ha, Thai Binh has an important position in the history of the Vietnamese nation - a place where extremely valuable historical values and cultural traditions converge. That needs to be respected, preserved and promoted, becoming a cultural identity, a source of national pride; becoming an address for historical education, patriotic traditions for generations of Vietnamese people, an attractive destination for spiritual and cultural tourism that is increasingly spreading, attracting a large number of compatriots, tourists from all over the country and international friends. He requested the leaders and people of Hung Ha district and those directly participating in the festival activities to show their pride as children of the Tran Dynasty's homeland by being hospitable, welcoming guests with a respectful, civilized and polite spirit and attitude.
At the opening ceremony of the Tran Temple Festival, Comrade Tran Thi Bich Hang, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Festival Steering Committee, and leaders of Hung Ha district presented certificates to sponsors of the opening ceremony of the Tran Temple Festival in 2024.

The play Hung Oanh Mot Gioi Troi Nam, recreates the origin of the Tran Dynasty.
A large number of local people and tourists from all over watched the art program with the drum performance "Long Hung - Tran Dynasty Temple", the semi-realistic play combined with the 3D mapping performance "Hung Oanh mot gioi troi Nam" consisting of 4 chapters.
Immediately after the program, the delegates attended the worship ceremony at the King's temple's high priest's court.
