On the evening of March 28, at East Sea Park, the Da Nang City Department of Tourism held the opening ceremony of the Da Nang Food Tour Festival 2025.

At the opening ceremony, Ms. Truong Thi Hong Hanh, Director of the City Department of Tourism, said that this is the first time the Festival has been held with many unique activities such as: Culinary space with the theme "Delicious dishes converging" introducing and serving more than 200 typical dishes and authentic cuisine of Da Nang, regions of Vietnam and internationally, along with rural gift spaces, rural market spaces; Danang Food Fun experience space with activities to try making traditional local dishes...

There is also the “Da Nang Food Tour - The Chef Competition” with the participation of more than 20 chefs from tourist accommodation, catering establishments, and restaurants. Participating in the competition, contestants will show off their skills in preparing, decorating, presenting dishes and creative, meaningful culinary stories...

In particular, the Danang Food Tour Culinary Passport program with the experience of collecting stamps to receive many attractive gifts within the framework of the Festival.

The Department of Tourism will coordinate with culinary businesses to issue 5,000 Da Nang Food Tour Culinary Passports (in Vietnamese and English). When using the Culinary Passport, residents and tourists will enjoy exclusive offers at each selected culinary location in the Passport...

According to the Director of the City Department of Tourism, the Da Nang Food Tour Festival 2025, taking place from March 28 to April 1, is a typical annual event of the city's tourism to promote and develop Da Nang as a unique culinary tourist destination on the world tourism map, contributing to continuing to affirm "Da Nang - Asia's leading festival and event destination," creating new tourism products to attract and serve tourists.

Cuisine is one of the important factors that help Da Nang attract tourists. The city not only has the advantage of unique local dishes but is also promoting the development of professional, sustainable and international culinary standards.

In March 2025, Furama Villas Danang Resort reopened Danaksara restaurant focusing on traditional dishes and authentic cooking to promote Central cuisine to the world.

The restaurant contributes to the sustainable development of local tourism by committing to using ingredients from reputable suppliers, supporting the purchase of products from local farmers and fishermen, thereby creating a sustainable tourism ecosystem, contributing to the preservation of cultural values, while bringing high-class culinary experiences to visitors. In 2025, Da Nang city strives to welcome 11.9 million visitors, an increase of 10% compared to the previous year; of which international visitors are estimated at 4.8 million. Revenue from accommodation, food and beverage, and tourism will reach more than 36,000 billion VND./.
