On July 9, MobiFone Telecommunications Corporation participated in the auction and became the network operator that won the right to use radio frequencies with the C3 band (3800 - 3900 MHz).
After gaining ownership of the C3 frequency block, MobiFone is focusing on implementing the following tasks, ensuring conditions to be ready for 5G commercialization such as: investing in broadcasting equipment, coverage area; building programs, business scenarios, perfecting 5G services with the motto of taking customers as the center.
MobiFone customers will experience 5G services expected from November. At the same time, to increase the efficiency of 5G deployment, MobiFone is implementing a model of infrastructure sharing cooperation with network operators with suitable 5G bands. This cooperation not only helps optimize network operators' resources but also gives customers the best experience with 5G services.
