Proposing a mechanism to support businesses in quickly deploying 5G networks |
Regarding the criteria and conditions for supporting businesses to quickly deploy 5G network infrastructure, the draft states: Telecommunications businesses are eligible for support to quickly deploy 5G networks when meeting the following conditions: businesses must deploy at least 20,000 5G broadcasting stations that meet the criteria: 5G stations installed at existing infrastructure locations or newly deployed. Each 5G station is only counted for 1 network operator.
5G stations are installed outdoors, using 64T64R, 32T32R, 16T16R, 8T8R devices. Each station has 1 or more radio transceivers.
5G stations are accepted and put into use from the effective date of the resolution until December 31, 2025.
The State budget supports businesses in rapidly deploying 5G network infrastructure nationwide. The total support amount shall not exceed the total amount collected from the auction of radio frequency rights conducted in 2024.
The Ministry of Finance is responsible for guiding budget expenditures for telecommunications enterprises eligible for financial support before May 15, 2025.
The draft also provides detailed instructions on how to calculate to support businesses in quickly deploying 5G network infrastructure.
