KBTG opens first technology office in Vietnam

This office is located in Ho Chi Minh City to implement the strategy of promoting the IT sector proposed by KASIKORN Business - Technology Group (KBTG). The company is expected to attract more than 500 employees in the next 3 years. This strategy also aims to support technology solutions for KBank, a bank under KBTG.

Thereby, aiming to build a business and technology network that brings a more flexible digital service experience to users in Vietnam. This is the premise for KBank to become a Regional Digital Bank of the new era, thereby aiming to become one of the 20 best banks in Vietnam by 2027.

KBTG Vietnam's goal in 2023 is to recruit the first group of 200 IT personnel to develop software for KBank and international businesses, and upgrade the K PLUS Vietnam application - KBank's flagship product with more than 600,000 existing users and the main digital banking platform, supporting the expansion of the company's customer base in Thailand with a target of more than 1.3 million users by 2023.
