(Dan Tri) - Trong Lam revealed that he and his colleagues were under a lot of pressure when rushing to complete more than 20 costumes, meeting many strict requirements from Jennie's team.
Performing the song Mantra on the famous American show Jimmy Kimmel Live , Jennie suddenly attracted attention when wearing a unique pair of shorts, decorated with all kinds of eating utensils including spoons, forks, knives and some metal accessories.
Few people know that the pants chosen by the Blackpink member come from a Vietnamese brand - which has collaborated with many international stars such as Lisa, TWICE, Madison Beer...

Sharing with Dan Tri reporter about this collaboration, Nguyen Trong Lam - CEO of the brand - said: "This is the first time Jennie has returned to the stage as a solo artist after 6 years, so her team pays close attention to every smallest detail of the product.
As a global fashion icon, Jennie wants to have a perfect image in this special stage comeback. The designs that Jennie chooses to wear must be unique and distinctive."
Trong Lam revealed that the collaboration process with Jennie was a race against time. He and his staff had to prepare more than 20 outfits in just 5 days to send them abroad, according to the requirements of Jennie's team.
The 15-member design and production team had to work overtime to meet the deadline. Trong Lam likened the task to organizing a major fashion show. Even if the design was for just one person, every detail had to be perfect.
"It would be a lie to say there was no pressure. Those 5 days were truly an unforgettable experience for me and the staff. There were many outfits considered, but let Jennie be the one to reveal this surprise in her next appearances," Trong Lam confided.

In fact, this is not the first time Vietnamese fashion brands have had the opportunity to work with Jennie and the members of Blackpink. During their performance at My Dinh Stadium (Hanoi), Blackpink's team continuously gave preferential treatment to a series of Vietnamese fashion houses.
While Lisa wore a sexy gold shirt, Jisoo chose a long dress with cut-out details and fringes from designer Duy Tran. All outfits were made specifically for the two Blackpink members to appear in front of tens of thousands of fans.

"To successfully connect with international stars like Jennie, I am truly grateful to my collaborators, especially the brand's advertising team. You have worked tirelessly, creatively and flexibly in every new strategy to create this valuable collaboration opportunity.
Thanks to our experience working with many international artists, we have completed the task without any major obstacles. Each collaboration is an opportunity for us to grow and affirm our creative identity on the world fashion map," Trong Lam added.
The balletcore skirt model (inspired by ballet dancers' costumes) posted by Jennie on Instagram sold out 2,000 orders within 15 minutes (Photo: Character provided).
As one of the young brand builders, Trong Lam realizes that affirming one's own mark and personal style is difficult, let alone setting foot on the world fashion map.
When Jennie and Lisa posted photos of themselves wearing clothes from the Vietnamese brand, sales increased rapidly in just a few days. The brand's products even quickly sold out. Not only the designs worn by Blackpink members, but other designs were also sold out.
