The iPhone SE 4, a successor to the iPhone SE 3 (2022), is expected to launch next year, with a series of important changes to performance and user experience, while still having a more accessible price than high-end iPhone lines.
The iPhone SE 4 is expected to have the design of the regular iPhone 14, removing the thick screen bezel, Home button, and adding an OLED screen. Not to mention it may have the main camera of the iPhone 15 and the latest chip on the iPhone 16.
But there is one more surprising and possibly more exciting news for fans of this low-cost iPhone line: according to Mactakara, Apple will launch a larger-screen, "huge" battery version of the iPhone SE 4, similar to the Plus line on regular iPhones.
The site claims to have 3D printed mockups of two iPhone SE 4s in different sizes from “Alibaba sources.” One appears to be based on the 6.1-inch iPhone 14, as most leaks suggest, while the second version appears to be inspired by the iPhone 14 Plus.

The actual size of the large phone is 6.7 inches. What's even more surprising, Mactakara's sources say, is that the large-screen version was developed first, while the small version was added later.
However, there are still some loopholes in this rumor, such as the fact that the Plus iPhone series has not been selling well, or this is the first time such news has appeared. One thing that can be confirmed is that the iPhone SE 4 will have the same external appearance as the regular iPhone 14, so it will be able to use accessories of this phone line.
If this rumor is true, it may be interesting to some iPhone users, as the regular iPhone SE has a reputation for poor battery life, and a Plus version with a larger battery would certainly solve this persistent problem. In addition, it also becomes a viable option for those who like large-screen phones.
