In 2024, after reviewing, Lao Cai City Women's Union chose to help build a "Warm House of Love" for the family of Ms. Vu Thi Quy and Ms. Nguyen Thi Dai in Group 14, Pom Han Ward, who have especially difficult housing circumstances.

Ms. Quy and Ms. Dai's families previously lived in the dilapidated 5A apartment building, which was forced to move and be demolished due to the impact of storm No. 3; their relatives had health problems.

Provide funding to support housing construction for households.

Sharing the situation of the two members, the City Women's Union connected with Hung Thinh Phat Optical Company Limited to support each household with 50 million VND to build a house. In addition to their family's resources, the two members also received attention and help from relatives, neighbors, and members of the branch in supporting working days and construction materials. Up to now, after more than 4 months of construction, the two "Warm Houses of Love" of Ms. Vu Thi Quy and Ms. Nguyen Thi Dai's families have been completed.

Supporting the construction of houses for members’ families and women in difficult circumstances is an activity with profound humanitarian meaning, demonstrating the solidarity, affection, and cooperation of all levels, sectors, and the whole community, helping families to reduce difficulties and improve their lives. This work also contributes to the elimination of temporary houses in the area, especially when Lao Cai city has many households affected by the circulation of storm No. 3.

It is known that in recent times, the Lao Cai City Women's Union has always paid attention to and implemented many activities to support members and women in difficult housing circumstances. Since the beginning of 2025, the Union has coordinated with philanthropists to start and inaugurate 3 "Warm Houses of Love"; the budget to support households is 140 million VND.
