Da Nang The exhibition "A Brief History of Vietnam" by Architect Bill Bensley, opens from February 11 to April 30 at InterContinental Danang.
The exhibition consists of 30 paintings depicting the journey from the past, present to the future of Da Nang and Hoi An, taking art lovers on a time travel, from the 17th to the 22nd century. Accordingly, Vietnam in the 17th-18th centuries stands out with images of trade activities with Europe and Korea, followed by adventurous ships to southern Chile in the 19th century, and then the departure of the French in the 20th century...
All historical milestones are vividly and artistically depicted through Bensley’s unique style. Not only recreating the past, the exhibition also opens up a perspective 100 years into the future, with the image of a temple in Da Nang designed by artificial intelligence, along with the author’s bold predictions about fashion.

The message that author Bill Bensley wants to convey through the exhibition is "Explore suburban destinations outside of Da Nang and admire the wild natural scenery before they disappear".
Visitors will have the opportunity to own Bensley's artworks, with all proceeds going to charities, including the Shinta Mani Foundation, which Bensley co-founded and is a major supporter of. Bill will also give an intimate talk at the resort, called "The Bill Bensley Art Lecture" at the Moulin Rouge (karaoke area) on February 9.
