This evening, March 19, in Hoa Lac, Hanoi, Hanoi National University and representatives of Hyundai Motor (Hyundai Group) in Vietnam signed a cooperation agreement between the two sides.
At the signing ceremony, a representative of Hyundai Group in Vietnam said that the group will accept students from Hanoi National University for internships in Korea, to help Vietnam train human resources in the field of engineering and technology.
Hyundai Motor signed an agreement with Hanoi National University to support Vietnam in training human resources in the field of automotive engineering and technology.
Professor Le Quan, Director of Hanoi National University, expressed that the signing of cooperation agreements with leading corporations and enterprises such as Hyundai contributes to helping Hanoi National University build high-quality human resources, especially in the field of engineering and technology; establish research centers in coordination with enterprises, training and research centers related to engineering and technology in Hoa Lac.
The cooperation agreement with Hyundai will contribute to improving the quality of training and research in the field of engineering and technology at Hanoi National University, meeting the increasing demand for high-quality human resources for the automobile industry and related industries in Vietnam.
Mr. Gi Baek Lee, Chief Representative of Hyundai Motor Vietnam, said that the signing ceremony was held because Hyundai found that Hanoi National University is a very suitable place for both sides to conduct research cooperation projects. In the immediate future, the two sides will establish a cooperation office in Hoa Lac to carry out functions, tasks and coordinate cooperation activities.
The cooperation will help Hanoi National University train outstanding talents, implement programs and lectures by famous international scholars, strengthen bilateral and mutually beneficial relationships through joint research projects to promote cooperation between universities and businesses.
"With leading-edge technologies, we can help you train talented students as well as provide useful support for you in the process of scientific and technical research and development," said Mr. Gi Baek Lee.
According to Mr. Gi Baek Lee, one thing Hyundai can implement right after the signing ceremony is to create conditions for students of Hanoi National University to go to Hyundai's headquarters in Korea for internships.
"We hope that the upcoming project we are implementing with Hanoi National University will help you create a balance in vocational training. That is also how we carry out Hyundai's social responsibility in Vietnam," said Mr. Gi Baek Lee.
