University of Nevada, Reno Becomes Strategic Partner of SIU

Saigon International University (SIU) has just signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR), USA.

Strengthening academic cooperation

With the goal of helping students access modern education and improve their competitiveness in the global labor market, SIU and UNR have agreed to implement an educational cooperation program (SIU - UNR Program).

Under the agreement, SIU students can transfer directly into the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at UNR.

The MBA program at UNR offers students access to leading professionals.

To be eligible for the program, applicants must meet the following entry requirements: a bachelor's degree from SIU, a GPA of 2.75 or higher, and English proficiency requirements: Duolingo 115; TOEFL 79 IBT or 8.5 (Essentials); IELTS 6.5; Pearson (PTE) 59 or Cambridge 176.

In addition to academic cooperation, the agreement also lays a solid foundation for research cooperation between the two schools.

With more than 60 cutting-edge research centers, UNR enables SIU students to participate in international projects, work with leading professors, and develop deep expertise. UNR also has a strong innovation ecosystem, making it an ideal environment for learning and entrepreneurship.

At the signing ceremony, Dr. Brian Sandoval - President of the University of Nevada, Reno - expressed his appreciation for SIU and considered this a valuable opportunity to cooperate for the benefit of students and faculty.
