From 2021 to present, the total development investment capital in the province has reached nearly 224 trillion VND, an increase of 74.3% compared to the period of 2016-2020, exceeding 39.6% of the target of the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress Resolution No. 61-NQ/TU dated October 13, 2021 of the 19th Provincial Party Committee on strongly improving the investment and business environment in the province in the period of 2021-2025.
Of which, non-state investment capital increased by 75%, foreign direct investment capital increased more than 2 times, state budget capital increased by 50%. The structure of investment capital shifted towards increasing the proportion of non-state sector and FDI capital (from 78.4% in the period of 2016-2020 to 81.5%).
Construction of the road connecting Hung Vuong Street through Nguyen Tat Thanh Street, Phu Dong Street to Au Co Dike contributes to expanding the development space of Viet Tri city.
Notably, the scale and number of investment projects increased compared to the previous period (the 2021-2024 period attracted and added capital to 386 private investment projects (DDI) - registered capital of 66.5 trillion VND; 104 foreign direct investment projects (FDI) - registered capital estimated at 1,706.4 million USD).
Along with attracting investment in projects and enterprises, infrastructure development has achieved many outstanding results. Many important, large-scale transport infrastructure projects have been invested in, connecting industrial parks, raw material areas, service and tourism areas with highways and national highways to neighboring provinces. In the period of 2021-2024, nearly 20 trillion VND of public investment capital has been mobilized to renovate, invest in new projects and upgrade transport infrastructure. Industrial park and industrial cluster infrastructure has been invested and expanded, completing investment in technical infrastructure of 231 hectares of industrial parks and 141 hectares of industrial clusters, with an occupancy rate of over 65%.
Urban infrastructure is invested synchronously in a civilized and modern direction, meeting the criteria of a type I urban area of Viet Tri city and a type III urban area of Phu Tho town; the urbanization rate reaches 22%... The fields of logistics services and human resource development have developed; service infrastructure and tourism have developed; the distribution network has expanded in both urban and rural areas; electricity, telecommunications and digital infrastructure meet the requirements of digital transformation, digital economic development, digital society and digital government.
