Traditional meeting of the Urban Working Group of Binh Thuan province

BTO-On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Binh Thuan (April 19, 1975 - April 19, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), on the morning of April 15, the Liaison Committee of the Urban Working Team of Binh Thuan province organized a Traditional Meeting program for team members to meet and review the unit's traditions.

Attending the program were Ms. Phan Thi Thanh Mai - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; former leaders, relatives of martyrs and 55 delegates who are members of the Binh Thuan Provincial Urban Working Team.

At the meeting, the delegates reviewed the glorious tradition of the Binh Thuan Provincial Urban Working Team 60 years ago. The Binh Thuan Provincial Urban Working Team, previously known as the Binh Thuan Provincial Urban Working Board, was established by the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee in early 1965. During the 10 years of fierce resistance war (1965-1975), many cadres and team members fought tenaciously, experiencing all three battlefields: In the enemy's heartland, in the war zone and the enemy's prison. Despite the difficulties and hardships, all cadres and team members were united and determined to fight for the people and the country, contributing to the liberation of the homeland.

When the country was completely unified, the Working Team had 125 members, completed its mission and was dissolved. The majority continued to work, strived to mature and more than 59% of the team members progressed, continuing to make many contributions to the homeland. Up to now, the team members have always maintained the steadfast spirit of the Binh Thuan Province Urban Working Team, being a shining example for their children and grandchildren, living loyally with their teammates and the people.

Giving gifts to relatives and families of martyrs.

On this occasion, the Liaison Committee of the Urban Working Group of Binh Thuan province presented 26 gifts, each worth 1 million VND, to the relatives and families of the martyrs, to express gratitude to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the peace, independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people. Thereby, encouraging and motivating the relatives and families of the martyrs to continue to uphold and promote the revolutionary tradition, develop the family economy, and build the homeland to become increasingly prosperous.
