The class aims to concretize the peak movement of propaganda and guidance on fire prevention and fighting launched by the Hanoi People's Committee, starting from April 15 to June 30, 2025; focusing on propaganda, guidance, inspection, and overcoming existing problems in fire prevention and fighting safety for 100% of households and establishments at high risk, such as: Multi-storey houses, many apartments; individual houses combined with production and business; boarding houses, rental establishments with overnight stays...

At the training course, delegates were instructed on basic contents of fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue; solutions for fire prevention, escape, fire spread prevention, early fire warning, and fire fighting equipment.

Trainees were also introduced to and practiced using some basic fire fighting and rescue equipment that were equipped at the facility, such as: Fire alarm system, fire hose, rapid fire warning system, portable fire extinguisher... At the same time, they also participated in the practical experience of some emergency escape solutions, such as: Rope ladder, slow-lowering rope...

Lieutenant Colonel Dang Trung Kien, Deputy Head of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, emphasized that all fire prevention and fighting activities must first be carried out and resolved by on-site fire fighting forces and equipment. Equipping heads of facilities and officers in charge of fire prevention and rescue with professional knowledge, situation handling skills and laws on fire prevention and rescue is a key, regular and fundamental step in limiting the consequences caused by fires and explosions.
