No casualties occurred in the fire on Thai Ha street.

At around 2:30 p.m. on April 18, at Viet Tower Building (No. 1 Thai Ha, Dong Da District), suddenly many columns of black smoke rose high.

Smoke and fire clung to the corner of the building on Tay Son Street from the basement to the top floor. All the workers in the building simultaneously ran out through the fire escape.

Upon receiving the news, the Hanoi City Police Command Center mobilized Fire Prevention and Fighting Police from the following local teams: Dong Da, Thanh Xuan, Hai Ba Trung... to quickly arrive at the scene.

Upon arrival, the Fire Prevention and Fighting Police and the local police proactively guided hundreds of people to the building's emergency exits and gathered in safe areas. At the same time, they determined the location of the fire in the building's basement to focus on extinguishing the source of the fire.

At around 3:20 p.m. the same day, the fire was completely extinguished. However, the entire corner of the nearly 20-story building was scorched, with some sections left with only the steel frame.
