At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Huu Thong informed voters about the expected content and program of the 9th session of the 15th National Assembly. Accordingly, the session is expected to open on May 5, 2025 and close on the morning of June 28, 2025. The session is divided into 2 working sessions: session 1 from May 5 to May 28, 2025; session 2 from June 11 to the morning of June 28, 2025. At this session, the National Assembly will decide on many historical issues of the country such as: The National Assembly will collect public opinions on the content of amending a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution. The National Assembly will consider and pass 30 draft laws, 7 Resolutions and give opinions on 6 draft laws. At this session, the National Assembly will also give opinions and decide on many other important issues serving the work of arranging and organizing the apparatus of the entire political system, socio-economic development, etc.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Thong also informed and clarified the policy of rearranging and reorganizing administrative units at all levels, building a two-level local government nationwide and in Binh Thuan province. At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Huu Thong reported the responses of relevant ministries and branches to the recommendations of voters who had made recommendations in previous meetings.
At the meeting, voters expressed their joy and pride in the achievements that the country and Binh Thuan province have achieved after 50 years of liberation and unification. Voters highly agreed with the revolution of merging provinces and organizing two-level local governments that the entire political system is implementing. However, voters suggested that the National Assembly should publicize the basis for naming new provinces after the merger.

Voters also recommended that the National Assembly should reform the education program, including adding subjects on ethics and personality education for students to limit the problem of school violence that has been causing outrage in recent times. Voters are also concerned about food safety as authorities have recently discovered and cracked down on a number of large-scale cases of fake milk and fake medicine production. Currently, some celebrities and artists are participating in advertising products that do not match the quality of the products, causing consumers to believe in and use poor quality products. Voters recommended that the National Assembly and relevant agencies should have regulations to strictly manage the advertising of products on the Internet.

Voters also requested to review the implementation of Resolution 09/2024 of the Provincial People's Council on support for 3 non-professional positions in villages and residential areas when they leave their positions or quit their jobs at will. Resolution 09 of the Provincial People's Council took effect from July 2024, but some people holding the position of Head of the Village and Residential Area Front Committee left their jobs after the end of their term in February 2024. This resulted in people working in the Village and Residential Area Front not receiving allowances according to Resolution 09.
At the meeting, National Assembly delegate Le Quang Huy responded to the voters' recommendations. In particular, delegate Le Quang Huy emphasized that not organizing district-level governments, merging provinces and reorganizing commune-level governments is an urgent requirement of reality, a revolutionary act to reduce intermediate levels, streamline the apparatus, towards building a government close to the people, improving the quality of service to the people. Regarding the opinion on food safety, delegate Le Quang Huy said that this is a legitimate opinion, directly affecting the economy and health of the people. Delegate Le Quang Huy would like to accept and will have opinions and reflections to the National Assembly in the upcoming session. Regarding the remaining opinions, delegate Le Quang Huy will accept and forward them to relevant departments and branches to respond to voters.
