More than 50 athletes compete at the Ben Tre Provincial Tennis Tournament 2023

The organizers awarded souvenir flags to the teams participating in the tournament.

Attending the event were Chairman of the Provincial Tennis Federation Tran Van Duc, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Thien Chi, Director of the Sports Center Le Trung Hai, representatives of the Sports Talent School, the Sports Management Department, participating units, a large number of athletes and spectators.

Chairman of the Provincial Tennis Federation - Head of the Organizing Committee Tran Van Duc said: Ben Tre Provincial Tennis Tournament is a traditional tournament held annually. This year's tournament has the participation of 58 athletes from 7 units and clubs in the province (Ba Tri, Thanh Phu, Mo Cay Bac, 2/9 Club of Binh Dai District, Monaco Club of Ben Tre City, Doc Lap Club of Ben Tre City and ABC Club of Ben Tre City).

Athletes participated in the following events: men's singles, men's doubles with a score of 1,350 and men's doubles with a score of 1,450 with 10 participating teams.

The tournament is meant to celebrate the 133rd birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2023) and continue to carry out the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Bac Ho", improve health to build and protect the Fatherland, contribute to promoting the movement of practicing and competing in tennis, creating a healthy playground, enhancing exchange and learning between clubs and athletes.

The tournament will take place on May 20 and 21, 2023 and will conclude with awards.
