On the evening of November 21, at the Royal City Commercial Center Square, Thanh Xuan, Hanoi, the opening ceremony of the 2024 Vietnam Regional Specialties Fair took place.
The Vietnam Regional Specialties Fair is an annual event, directed by the City People's Committee, assigned to the Hanoi Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion (HPA), in coordination with relevant units to organize at the square of Vincom Mega Mall Royal City Commercial Center.

Speaking at the opening of the fair, Mr. Nguyen Anh Duong - Director of HPA said that the fair is a good opportunity for businesses and localities to promote specialty products to consumers, domestic and foreign tourists, participating in the effective supply-consumption chain in the capital market. This is also a place for distributors to search and choose sources of goods, an event that consumers respond to and look forward to at the end of the year to visit, shop, and experience the regional culture of Vietnam.

In 2024, the Vietnam Regional Specialties Fair will take place from November 20-24 at the Royal City Trade Center Square. The Fair will have 250 booths, attracting more than 200 units from 63 provinces and cities to participate, including: Manufacturing enterprises, cooperatives, representatives of industry associations and especially the presence of 59 provinces and cities directly participating in the organization of "Specialties Booths" to display and introduce typical products, specialties of localities, products protected by geographical indications, with many new products with quality and packaging designs aimed at export.

According to HPA, the fair is also an opportunity for localities and regions to introduce typical products such as: The Northwest highlands with heritage rice cakes, Seng Cu rice, Muong Khuong chili, smoked buffalo, Bac Kan squash, Ham Yen oranges...; the Red River region with Vu Dai village braised fish, Tu Ky crab, Hung Yen longan, Siu Chau peanut candy...; the Central region with Khanh Hoa bird's nest, Ly Son garlic, Phu Yen seafood, Ninh Thuan grapes, Quang Nam agarwood...; the Central Highlands with wind-dried persimmons, Dai Hung avocado, macadamia, coffee, one-sun-dried beef...; the South with rice paper, Tay Ninh salt, Dong Nai dried beef, cashew nuts, pepper, macadamia...; the Mekong Delta with Ca Mau crab, Go Cong fish sauce, palm sugar, coconut nectar, Phu Quoc pepper, pia cake...

Within the framework of the fair, trade connection activities are continuously taking place between businesses and major distributors (AEON, Lotte, Central Retail, clean store chains, e-commerce platforms Alibaba, Foodmap...) and many cultural and tourism promotion activities, product demonstrations are built by provinces, cities, and businesses participating in creating a festival for visitors to explore and experience specialties, culture, and tourism of regions across the country.
The 2024 Vietnam Regional Specialties Fair opened at 7:30 p.m. on November 21 and is open to visitors from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. every day from November 20 to 24 at the square of Vincom Mega Mall Royal City - 72A Nguyen Trai, Thanh Xuan, Hanoi. |
