This morning, October 21, at the Provincial School for Children with Disabilities, the Department of Education and Training of Quang Tri in collaboration with the Center for Research on Inclusive Development (RCI) organized a Reproductive Health Care Camp for students with disabilities in 2024 with the theme: "Reproductive Health Care to Capture Future Happiness". Through the camp, students with disabilities have the opportunity to exchange, learn, experience, and share their knowledge and skills to continue updating necessary knowledge; express and propose their thoughts and aspirations to friends, teachers, parents, and especially to authorities at all levels.
This is also evidence of the responsible coordination of the community and society in taking care of the health and education of children with disabilities.

It is known that Quang Tri is the province with the highest rate of people with disabilities (PWD) in the country with more than 30,000 people, accounting for about 5% of the population. The lives of PWD in general and disabled children in particular still face many difficulties.
In particular, the opportunities for children with disabilities to study, access information and participate in social activities are limited, so the risk of violence and abuse in this group is quite high due to the low ability to perceive knowledge related to reproductive health and sexual health and psychological barriers. This camp is one of many practical activities organized by the Department of Education and Training of Quang Tri in coordination with the RCI Project to contribute to overcoming the above situation.
