Groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the "Farmer's Love" house for member Le Van Hung.
Create motivation to rise
Having the opportunity to follow the delegation of the Provincial Farmers' Association to attend the groundbreaking ceremony of the construction of the "Farmer's Love" house for members with housing difficulties in Vinh Hoa commune (Cho Lach), the joy seemed to be doubled. Mr. Le Van Hung (born in 1981) could not hide his joy when he had a new house. "I am so happy, I really did not dare to think that I would receive financial support to build a house. These past few days, I have been smiling all the time when I go to work. With a house, I will focus on working to have a stable income to escape poverty," Mr. Hung confided.
Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Hoa commune, Huynh Van Tai, said that Le Van Hung is currently a poor household in the locality. The family has 4 members, but no land for cultivation, Hung is the main laborer of the family. He has to do all kinds of jobs from tilling the land, digging trees, making ditches to make ends meet. Hung's wife is a housewife, taking care of 2 small children, so the family always faces difficulties. The financial support to build a solid house is a source of encouragement and motivation for Hung to have the conditions to develop the family economy and escape poverty sustainably.
Nguyen Phuoc Cuong, Head of the Farmers' Association of Dong Tho Hamlet, Vinh Hoa Commune (Captain of the Farmers' Volunteer Team), said that with his role, the team will focus on contributing working days to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for farmer members who receive housing support. At the same time, he will promote and mobilize farmer members, branches, and relatives to actively contribute money and working days to join hands to help members have a roof to protect them from the sun and rain, overcome difficulties and rise up in life.
“Each farmer member in the association as well as the Farmers' Volunteer Team will actively respond to the call of the Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association in the emulation movement "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses", considering it a meaningful act demonstrating the spirit of mutual love and mutual assistance of each member", said Nguyen Phuoc Cuong, Head of the Farmers' Association of Dong Tho Hamlet.
Promoting internal strength in the organization
Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Cho Lach District, Le Van Chuc, said that in implementing the policy of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, the Farmers' Association of the district has concretized and developed a plan to deploy to all levels of the association in the district. Since the beginning of 2025, all levels of the association have been active and determined in joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for officials and poor farmers, through the leadership, direction and bridging of the Provincial Farmers' Association. The District Farmers' Association has issued a decision to establish a "Volunteer Team to mobilize construction materials"; directed each commune to establish a "Shock Farmer Team" to participate in supporting working days to contribute to building houses for poor farmers.
Along with the policy of the Central Government, the Provincial Steering Committee, the Provincial Farmers' Association has promptly directed, regularly monitored, inspected and reminded all levels of the association to carry out the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in accordance with regulations and ensure the time. In that spirit, the District Farmers' Association focuses on widely mobilizing cadres, farmer members, good farmers and businessmen at all levels to join hands to contribute part of the funding to support their families in building temporary and dilapidated houses for poor farmer members in the district.
“The groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the “Farmer’s Love” house for Mr. Le Van Hung, a poor farmer member of Vinh Hoa commune, is considered the opening activity for the launch of the emulation movement “Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses” in Cho Lach district to create a spread of the spirit of “helping each other” among cadres and farmer members in particular, and all classes of people in the district in general. Not stopping at the 3 houses registered by the district Farmers’ Association according to the target, the district continues to launch the campaign among farmers’ association members, mobilizing resources, benefactors, and philanthropists to build many houses for poor farmers in difficult circumstances in the district in the coming time”, said Chairman of the Cho Lach District Farmers’ Association Le Van Chuc.
According to Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association Nguyen Van Ban, following the Prime Minister's call to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province, the Provincial Farmers' Association has developed a plan to deploy to all levels of the association in the whole province to mobilize members, especially good farmers and business households at the provincial and central levels with a total of nearly 19,000 households, each household to support at least 100,000 VND to join hands in implementing this program. In addition to responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, the Steering Committees of districts and communes provide systematic support in the locality to jointly implement the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province, the associations at all levels also strengthen the mobilization of organizations and individuals inside and outside the province to support funding. Launching the organization of each commune to establish a "Shock Farmer Team" to support working days for members to save on labor costs. Each district establishes a "Volunteer Team for Mobilizing Construction Materials", led by the Vice Chairman of the District Farmers' Association as Team Leader, to implement the motto "Whoever has something helps, whoever has merit contributes, whoever has property contributes, whoever has little contributes little, whoever has much contributes much".
“In 2025, the provincial Farmers’ Association at all levels will register to build 50 houses for poor, near-poor, and disadvantaged farmers in response to the Provincial Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). To achieve this goal, the Association at all levels will allocate specific targets for each unit, with each district having at least 1 to 2 houses.” (Chairman of Provincial Farmers' Association Nguyen Van Ban) |
