14th Conference of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee (term XIV)

On the morning of January 31, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee held the 14th conference, term XIV. Comrade Pham Thi Thanh Thuy, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, chaired the conference.

The representative of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee presented a proposal for comments on the first draft of the Political Report to be submitted to the 15th Congress of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front for the 2024-2029 term. Accordingly, with the expected theme of "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Development", in addition to the introduction and conclusion, the political report is divided into 2 parts.

The first part is about the situation of the great national unity bloc and the results of implementing the action program of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province, term 2019 - 2024. The second part is about the direction, goals and action program of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the term 2024 - 2029. In addition, the Political Report also evaluates and looks back at 40 years of innovation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front according to the Party's guidelines.

The conference also heard the Report on the proposed allocation of delegates to attend the 15th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thanh Hoa province, term 2024 - 2029, and implemented guidelines for collecting comments on amending and supplementing the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term IX.

Concluding the conference, Comrade Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Pham Thi Thanh Thuy said: The Political Report is a very important report presented at the 15th Congress of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front, so the content must realistically and accurately assess the situation of the great national unity bloc in the province in recent years; the program of coordinated action for the 2019-2024 term and determine the development direction, action program, specific and practical tasks that the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee will carry out in the coming period.

The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission and Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee requested that the Committee members, members of the Advisory Council, and individuals with their experience and intelligence spend more time researching and contributing ideas to the Draft; the Standing Committees of the Fatherland Front Committees of districts, towns, and cities, and member organizations, depending on actual conditions, widely collect opinions from all walks of life, union members, association members, and compatriots of all ethnic groups and religions, in order to promote intelligence and responsibility in coordination and unified action.

Regarding the expected allocation of delegates to attend the Congress, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission and Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee said: The selection of delegates must ensure the promotion of the strength of national solidarity and diversity of components, so that the 15th Congress of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Fatherland Front, term 2024 - 2029, is an important political event, with a widespread influence among all classes of people in building the great national unity bloc.
