Conference on dialogue between enterprises in the field of natural resources and environment

In order to build and improve a friendly, safe and transparent business investment environment; support businesses and investors in the province in carrying out documents and procedures in the field of natural resources and environment, this morning, November 12, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Quang Tri organized a dialogue conference for businesses in the field of natural resources and environment in 2024. The conference was attended by nearly 40 businesses in the province.

At the conference, businesses frankly discussed a number of issues related to procedures and plans for compensation for site clearance and resettlement support for key projects in the province; implementation of mineral exploitation projects; environmental impact assessment; land valuation procedures, mechanisms to shorten the land valuation process; hazardous waste treatment in industrial parks; environmental licensing procedures; installation and operation of automatic and continuous environmental monitoring systems...

In response to questions and recommendations from businesses, representatives of specialized departments of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment directly answered and responded.

For recommendations and questions that have not been answered at the conference, the department's specialized departments and offices will receive and advise on written responses to matters within their authority or seek opinions from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment and the Provincial People's Committee to provide specific instructions for businesses.

The conference is an opportunity for the leaders of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to promptly grasp, answer, and resolve difficulties, obstacles, recommendations, and proposals of enterprises in the area in implementing records and procedures in the field of natural resources and environment. Create favorable conditions for enterprises to improve production and business efficiency, contributing to promoting socio-economic development. Correct and raise awareness and responsibility of civil servants performing public duties in creating an open investment and business environment for enterprises.
