A representative of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment said that Quang Tri is considered a locality heavily affected by climate change. In recent years, climate change has caused many extreme weather events with high frequency, causing much damage to the people.
Identifying climate change response as an important task, the Provincial People's Committee has proactively and synchronously deployed many solutions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to climate change; focusing on developing organic agricultural production.
This event not only shared knowledge on how to classify waste at source and make the most of food waste to make organic fertilizer and animal feed, but also emphasized the importance of responsible food use by consumers.
