The event was organized by the French Consulate General and the French Institute in Ho Chi Minh City for the winners of the Goût de France/Good France 2024 competition. This is a competition to learn and explore the world of French cuisine at 3 high schools in Vietnam that teach French-Vietnamese bilingual programs and will be held in March 2024. To participate in this competition, students must create a creative and novel 3-course French menu.

With the support of three chefs Adrien Guenzi, Thao Na and Sakal Phoeung, the students also directly cooked three dishes according to the French menu (appetizer - main course - dessert) including: smoked salmon rolled with grapefruit and red radish; chicken stuffed with cereals and “chatoyant” entremet.

The Goût de/Good France competition was first launched in 2015 on the initiative of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and chef Alain Ducasse to promote French culture through cuisine, chefs, artisans and French food. |
