The contest format includes videos or images made by students, each video is on average 4-6 minutes long. The content introduces the Ho Dynasty Citadel heritage; famous spiritual tourist destinations in Tay Do (Vinh Loc), such as: Giang Pagoda, Linh Giang Pagoda, Tran Khat Chan Temple, Binh Khuong Temple...
After 3 months of launching the contest, the Center has received many photo and video entries from students.
Speaking to reporters, Mr. Trinh Huu Anh - Deputy Director of the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage Conservation Center - said: starting from September 24 to October 17, the Center will post contest photos and videos on the Center's Page and widely promote on social networking platforms for everyone to vote for outstanding works to be awarded.
According to Mr. Trinh Huu Anh, the contest aims to help students review the glorious traditions, the golden history of fighting foreign invaders and building the country of the Vietnamese people.
Besides, it is to educate patriotism, national pride, historical traditions and national culture; to strengthen humanistic values, tolerance, compassion, community spirit and to form valuable qualities of Vietnamese citizens in the trend of international integration.
Moreover, this is an innovative method of approaching the subject of history. Students are exposed to reality to have a more intuitive and vivid view of the indomitable spirit and heroic spirit of our ancestors in the struggle against foreign invaders, regaining independence and freedom for the nation, bringing a prosperous and happy life to the Vietnamese people with many brilliant milestones.
Since then, generations of students have always been grateful and proud, remembering and striving to study and practice to contribute to building the homeland and country to become increasingly prosperous.
In addition, this is also a method of promoting social responsibility to parents in the work of protecting and promoting the heritage of Ho Dynasty Citadel.
In the coming time, Mr. Trinh Huu Anh hopes that many schools in the area in particular and schools outside the area will coordinate to organize similar activities.
At the same time, it aims at education levels outside the district to spread more widely the meaning and value of the Ho Dynasty Citadel Heritage Conservation Center. It can even be expanded to colleges and universities, especially in faculties and universities related to the country's cultural history.
The award ceremony is expected to be held on December 22 and 23 at the ancient Tet pole-raising ceremony held at Ho Dynasty Citadel.
The contest will be a strong bridge connecting heritage managers with generations of students in schools, thereby joining hands to protect and preserve heritage values, contributing to promoting the image of the world heritage of Ho Dynasty Citadel to a large number of domestic and foreign tourists.
