What does Hoang Thuy Linh say about the criticism?

Hoang Thuy Linh is currently spending all her time on the set of Don't be afraid to get married, just need a reason. She said that she will not be able to return to Ho Chi Minh City until January 2024 after the film project ends.

Talking about the noise before and after completing the Vietnamese live concert at Phu Tho Stadium (HCMC) to celebrate 15 years of singing (taking place on the evening of September 29), Hoang Thuy Linh said she felt both regretful and sad, very sad.

Sharing with Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper , singer Hoang Thuy Linh said: "The live show recreates my 15-year journey of pursuing singing, from when I first started singing to the present time when I have achieved certain achievements.

I was very happy, excited and fulfilled with my journey. Everything was going very well, as planned until the incident happened. I felt so sorry because it seemed like everything was done and I myself went and ruined it."

Hoang Thuy Linh added that when the incident happened, she was also confused and felt guilty for making people misunderstand and unhappy: "But honestly, I just thought that everyone was close to me, like my family. I shared and acted as if everyone had known me for the past 15 years and had the affection of family members for each other.

So, it seems like I "overdid it" and made everyone unhappy. I'm so sad. Sad because I made everyone unhappy. Sad because all my heart and effort was poured into the live show, but in the end it was not complete because of bad things. Honestly, I didn't mean any harm."

She also feels sorry and sad when making others unhappy.

After the scandal, Hoang Thuy Linh said she had learned a profound lesson because it was clearly her fault. "I am always open to feedback and take note of all the opinions of the audience. I always aspire to improve myself every day and will not make the same mistake again," she said.

But she affirmed that she had no ill intentions, it was just that the way she expressed herself was inappropriate. This was a big lesson and she knew she had to learn from experience, learn more to be more refined and perfect herself.

Talking about her feelings when caught up in the scandal, Hoang Thuy Linh said it was "quite bad" but she knew she had to accept it. "Those are big lessons that I have to go through on my journey to perfect myself."
