Launching Vietnam Virtual Exhibition Hall at EXPO 2025 to promote national image

Director of the Department of International Cooperation (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hoa, said yesterday, April 15, at EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, this unit announced the official website and Virtual Exhibition House of Vietnam.

Accordingly, the official website of Vietnam Exhibition House (located at http://vietnamexpo2025osaka.com), in two languages, Vietnamese and English, has a minimalist, modern but equally sophisticated design, in line with the general design trend of the world , combined with the aesthetic trends of Japanese viewers.

The website provides viewers with detailed information about highlights, exhibition content, event schedules, and the latest updates on the Vietnam Exhibition House. At the same time, the website also posts images, introduces the culture, country, people, and attractive destinations of Vietnam.

In addition, the organizers also introduced the Virtual Vietnam Exhibition House located on the virtual EXPO application (Virtual EXPO 2025). The application “Virtual EXPO – Yumeshima in the sky” is an online platform that allows users to visit virtual exhibition houses recreated and developed from more than 150 national exhibitors and international organizations participating in EXPO 2025. Thereby, the public will have unique experiences completely different from real life such as choosing their own avatar, equipping items, interacting with other visitors, etc.

In the virtual EXPO application, the Vietnam Exhibition is located on the Island of Light, with a prominent facade featuring the image of Meritorious Artist Le Giang playing the monochord at Van Long lagoon (Ninh Binh).

With the background music of “Floating Water Fern” arranged and conducted by artist Dong Quang Vinh, performed by the New Vitality Orchestra, visitors have the opportunity to learn about bronze drums - Vietnam’s national treasure, admire the Phuong Bao ao dai (restored from the ao dai believed to belong to Queen Nam Phuong), learn more about Vietnam’s history through illustrations by artist Ta Huy Long, admire the majesty of Da Nang’s Golden Bridge, be excited by the diverse cuisine of the three regions of Vietnam, experience unique Vietnamese water puppetry, or be fascinated by films introducing Vietnam’s famous landscapes…

More specifically, as soon as entering the Virtual Vietnam Exhibition House, visitors will be given avatars wearing ao dai and conical hats and invited to wave the Vietnamese flag.

“Starting from today's activities such as announcing the official website and launching the Virtual Exhibition House, the Vietnam Exhibition House will soon become an impressive touch point in the hearts of international visitors, a bridge of cooperation between Vietnam and friends from all over the world, and a place to tell new stories about a Vietnam that is developing strongly and full of potential,” Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hoa expressed.

Also at the event, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Hue City, Mr. Phan Thanh Hai, gave a speech promoting Hue - a heritage city of Vietnam, a destination of Vietnam in the National Tourism Year 2025.

“With a rich history, culture and sustainable development orientation, Hue is strongly striving to become a leading tourist center not only in Vietnam but also in Southeast Asia and Asia in the near future. In the coming time, Vietnam Exhibition House will coordinate with the Department of Culture and Sports of Hue City to organize an event to announce the Hue National Tourism Year 2025, celebrating the 50th anniversary of national reunification right at EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan./.
