Completed 119/143 grassroots Front congresses

On March 25, the Standing Committee of the Ninh Binh Provincial Fatherland Front Committee held a conference to review the work of the Front in the first quarter and deploy tasks in the second quarter.

In the first quarter, the work of directing and guiding the organization of the congresses of the Fatherland Front at all levels for the 2024-2029 term was carried out urgently. By the end of March 20, 119/143 commune-level units had completed the congresses. It is expected that by the end of the first quarter of 2024, 133/143 communes will have completed the organization of the congresses, reaching 93.7%.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024, the whole province organized visits and presented nearly 148,000 gifts worth over 59.2 billion VND to policy families, meritorious people, poor households, households in especially difficult circumstances and social protection beneficiaries.

In particular, the Fatherland Front system at all levels has consulted on the 'Repaying gratitude and social security' Fund, and at the same time received and allocated nearly 71,000 Tet gifts worth nearly 32 billion VND from the support source of the State budget, agencies, enterprises, and philanthropists.

In the first quarter, the Vietnam Fatherland Front also presided over the groundbreaking of 22 new Great Solidarity houses; inaugurated and handed over 8 houses.

At the conference, representatives of the Fatherland Front of districts and cities focused on studying and giving comments on two documents: Draft of the new action program 'Building self-governing, united, prosperous and happy residential areas' in the draft Political Report submitted to the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029; framework of the political report submitted to the 12th Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Concluding the conference, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Ha, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, suggested: The Fatherland Front at all levels needs to focus highly on directing the successful organization of the congresses of the Fatherland Front at all levels for the 2024-2029 term, ensuring the set time and progress; building works and tasks to welcome the congress.

Along with that, continue to coordinate with the People's Council and People's Committee at the same level to organize conferences to meet voters before and after the National Assembly session; before the regular mid-year session of the Provincial People's Council.
