Volleyball beauty Kim Hue receives master's degree in economics at age 42

" After more than 2 years of studying, my efforts and those of my Economic Management class have finally paid off. I wish the teachers of the Faculty of Political Economy and the teachers of the University of Economics - Vietnam National University, Hanoi good health, peace, and a happy new year, " Kim Hue happily wrote on her personal page.

In September 2023, Pham Thi Kim Hue successfully defended her master's thesis. She is pursuing a master's degree in Business Administration. This is a new field for many athletes but it helps them a lot after retirement.

Kim Hue and many other sports stars participated in the course under the cooperation program between the Department of Sports and Physical Education and the University of Economics - Vietnam National University, Hanoi. Professional sports athletes can participate in training in many bachelor programs according to actual needs.

Studying business administration and economic management is essential for professional athletes. Spending a lot of time training and competing when they are young, many sports stars lack the necessary skills to exploit their image, personal brand, manage finances as well as develop business sectors besides their sports career.

As for Pham Thi Kim Hue, she even had to put aside many personal plans, including some jobs related to sports training, to complete her studies.

Kim Hue is known as the "beauty queen" of Vietnamese volleyball. The beautiful appearance and talent of the athlete born in 1982 make her an irreplaceable icon in the hearts of fans. Kim Hue once held the record of 17 consecutive years of participating in the National Volleyball Championship.

She was the captain of the Vietnamese women's volleyball team when she was only 19 years old. Kim Hue made a strong impression from the 22nd SEA Games at home. She won 6 silver medals at the SEA Games she attended.
